Toucan Smart Sconce Light is based on a simple principle – use your existing home Wi-Fi network and our Toucan Smart Home app (available for Apple and Android devices). The free app allows you to get a complete control of the Toucan Smart Sconce Light remotely (colors, timer, schedule, voice control, etc.) through your mobile devices.
The app is named “Toucan Smart Home” and can be downloaded from the Google Play store (for Android) and Apple Store (for iOS).
Toucan Smart Sconce Light requires mobile devices with iOS 10 and above or Android 4.3 and above.
Besides Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, Toucan Smart Sconce Light does not work with any other home automation devices currently.
You are able to log in to the same account with multiple mobile devices simulaneously, granting those devices control over your Toucan Smart Sconce Light.
Yes. Toucan Smart Sconce Light requires wireless internet connection for operation. Toucan Sconce Light is compatible with wireless routers running 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz.
The Toucan Smart Sconce Light is powered by 6 pieces of AA batteries. It can be operated for approximately 200 hours depending on the brightness and colors used. If the brightness level selected is set to the highest, the runtime will be less than 200 hours.
Launch the Toucan Smart Home app and log in with your account;
Click the Room that you want to check;
You will see the battery indictor for each light.
You would also receive a push notification on your phone while any of the light is running out of battery.

You may select “Forgot password”, then enter your e-mail that you use for registration and follow the instruction to re-set the password.
Launch the Toucan™ Smart Home app and log in to your account;
Select and click the Room, then the light that you want to remove;
Click “Remove” on the bottom;
Click “OK” to confirm that you want to remove the light.

With the Toucan skill and Alexa configuration, you can now interact with your Toucan Smart Sconce Light by voice to turn on/off, change color, color temperature and brightness. To get started, select the "Enable" button on the Toucan skill page from the Amazon Alexa app to link your Toucan Smart Home account and discover your device by saying "Alexa, discover devices". Once done, you can begin controlling your Toucan Smart Sconce Lights through Alexa.
Go to "Amazon Alexa" app;
Go to Skills and search with key word "Toucan”;
Select "Enable" for the "Toucan" skill. Log in with your Toucan Smart Home app account and authorize access to link with your Toucan Smart Sconce Light;
Find your device by talking to Echo "Alexa, discover my smart home devices" and your Toucan Smart Sconce Light should be found within 20 seconds;
All setup is complete and you can start to control your Toucan Smart Sconce light by voice with Alexa.
With the Toucan action and “Google Home” configuration, you can now interact with your Toucan Smart Sconce Light by voice to turn on/off, change color, and brightness. To get started, select the “Add device” button in the home control page to link with your Toucan Smart Home app account.
Go to "Google Home" app and select “Setting menu”;
Go to “Home control” and click “Add device”;
Find “Toucan” action, log in with your Toucan Smart Home app account to link with your Toucan Sconce Light;
All setup is complete and you can start to control your Toucan Smart Sconce Light by Google Assistant devices.
First, make sure you've successully added the Toucan skill to your Amazon Alexa. See "Working with Voice Assistants" section above for details.
Control the Toucan Sconce Light by voice via Amazon Alexa:
To turn light on/off: "Alexa, turn on/off (name of your light/group)"
To change the brightness by percentage: "Alexa, dim/brighten (name of your light/group) 60%"
To change the light color: “Alexa, set (name of your light/group) to red"
To set the light color temperature: “Alexa, set (name of your light/group) warmer/softer"

Control the Toucan Sconce Light by voice via Google Home:
To turn light on/off: "OK/Hey Google, turn on/off (name of your light/group)"
To change the brightness: "OK/Hey Google, dim/brighten (name of your light/group)"
To change the brightness by percentage: "OK/Hey Google, set (name of your light/group) to 60%"
To change the light color: “OK/Hey Google, turn (name of your light/group) to red"
To check if the light is on: “OK/Hey Google, is (name of your light/group) on?"
