How does Toucan Smart Sconce Light work?Toucan Smart Sconce Light is based on a simple principle – use your existing home Wi-Fi network and our Toucan Smart Home app (available for Apple and Android devices). The free app allows you to get a complete control of the Toucan Smart Sconce Light remotely (colors, timer, schedule, voice control, etc.) through your mobile devices.

What kind of batteries does the Toucan Smart Sconce Light use and how long do the batteries last?The Toucan Smart Sconce Light is powered by 6 pieces of AA batteries. It can be operated for approximately 200 hours depending on the brightness and colors used. If the brightness level selected is set to the highest, the runtime will be less than 200 hours.

How do I know the battery status for my Toucan Smart Sconce Light?Launch the Toucan Smart Home app and log in with your account; Click the Room that you want to check; You will see the battery indictor for each light. You would also receive a push notification on your phone while any of the light is running out of battery.

How do I remove the Light from my Toucan Smart Home account?Launch the Toucan™ Smart Home app and log in to your account; Select and click the Room, then the light that you want to remove; Click “Remove” on the bottom; Click “OK” to confirm that you want to remove the light.

Can I connect my Toucan Smart Sconce Light to my PC to view and control the lights?No, Toucan Smart Sconce Light is strictly used with mobile devices only.

How can I connect my Toucan Smart Sconce Light with Amazon Alexa devices?With the Toucan skill and Alexa configuration, you can now interact with your Toucan Smart Sconce Light by voice to turn on/off, change color, color temperature and brightness. To get started, select the "Enable" button on the Toucan skill page from the Amazon Alexa app to link your Toucan Smart Home account and discover your device by saying "Alexa, discover devices". Once done, you can begin controlling your Toucan Smart Sconce Lights through Alexa. Go to "Amazon Alexa" app; Go to Skills and search with key word "Toucan”; Select "Enable" for the "Toucan" skill. Log in with your Toucan Smart Home app account and authorize access to link with your Toucan Smart Sconce Light; Find your device by talking to Echo "Alexa, discover my smart home devices" and your Toucan Smart Sconce Light should be found within 20 seconds; All setup is complete and you can start to control your Toucan Smart Sconce light by voice with Alexa.

How can I connect my Toucan Smart Sconce Light with Google Assistant devices?With the Toucan action and “Google Home” configuration, you can now interact with your Toucan Smart Sconce Light by voice to turn on/off, change color, and brightness. To get started, select the “Add device” button in the home control page to link with your Toucan Smart Home app account. Go to "Google Home" app and select “Setting menu”; Go to “Home control” and click “Add device”; Find “Toucan” action, log in with your Toucan Smart Home app account to link with your Toucan Sconce Light; All setup is complete and you can start to control your Toucan Smart Sconce Light by Google Assistant devices.
